About Dr Colbey Forman

Colbey Beurin Forman, PhD, Founder and Dean of Beurin University, is a visionary leader who is the founder of the field of Psychoneurology, a process that fully integrates all aspects of an individual, Spirit, Mind, and Body that produces truly outstanding results. Psychoneurology is rapidly becoming acknowledged as a new standard in solution-focused therapy and intervention.

For the past three decades, he has studied and trained with other leading international experts in developing cutting-edge techniques to create the highest level of thriving on the spiritual, mental, and physical levels.

A gifted teacher and facilitator, Dr. Forman utilizes his considerable expertise in the field of directed communication to produce extraordinary breakthroughs in individuals, couples, Fortune 500 companies, and war-torn communities. He has addressed audiences at leading British universities including Oxford and Cambridge as well as some of Britain’s major secondary schools, earning him the coveted title of the UK’s Most Influential Speaker, an honor he shares with US Past President Bill Clinton as the only two Americans to receive this award.

Dr. Forman studied in the old city of Jerusalem for 5 years and received rabbinic ordination and returned to the United States to share the ancient and timeless wisdom as from his masters.  

Upon returning to the United States and resuming teaching and training with Richard Bandler, the co-founder of Neuro Linguistic Programing (NLP) he continued developing and expanding other aspects necessary for thriving including studying Kundalini Yoga through the Instructor level with Yogi Budgen, the master who brought Kundalini to the west, among others.


Dr. Forman has consulted and coached Presidents and Prime Ministers, top corporate executives, and Olympic athletes. He has consulted with luminaries such as the Dalai Lama, Margaret Thatcher, Yasser Arafat, and other world leaders. When serving as a consultant and advisor for the United States during the Middle East Process he was singled out by both the Jewish and Palestinian camps for his valuable contribution and tireless efforts in furthering the process of the Jerusalem Spiritual Peace Accord.

Dr. Forman’s passion for solution-based therapies commenced at the young age of 10 when he became interested in and taught himself the principles of hypnosis. His curiosity led him to study many modalities including some ancient mystical traditions from masters in Jerusalem, to NLP under its founder Richard Bandler and to graduating with two PhD’s in Comparative Religions and in Behavioral Psychology.

Dr. Forman began his life-long training in martial arts at the age of 4 and has been awarded five black belts and two black sashes in various forms of martial arts, being the only non-Korean to hold a 5th-degree black belt in his particular style. His martial arts programs have benefited thousands of men, women, and children.

​Dr. Forman continues his speaking engagements on an international level while working with a wide variety of clients and patients. His unique ability to produce immediate and lasting results working with adults and children labelled with ADD / ADHD, anxiety, and phobias, even in live demonstrations on stage, has earned him the reputation as “America’s Most Effective Therapist”.

As the President and Chief of the American Board of Psychoneurology he teaches healthcare professionals including allopathic MD’s, psychiatrists, psychologists, MFTs, and social workers, as well as spiritual and religious leaders, the new result-oriented paradigm of psychoneurology. He also teaches courses from individual certifications, all the way up to the doctoral level in Psychoneurology and Integrative Medicine at Beurin University which is undertaken and enjoyed by students from the four corners of the globe.
